Aztec gold are cursed gold coins that put a curse on Hector Barbossa and the crew of The Black Pearl. They are kept in the Isla de Muerta along with the crew's other treasure. Once Barbossa finds all the gold pieces he needs blood of Will Turner then he can be free of the curse. Will was about to be killed so that the crew of the Pearl could be free of the curse but Jack Sparrow saved him. Jack and Barbossa got in a fight and just as Jack shot Barbossa, Will put his blood into the Aztec Gold and Barbossa died. The Aztec Gold appears in the Isla de Muerta Lego set. They are smooth gold coins that are placed in a chest.
